David Phillips, President
President, David Phillips, possesses over 18 years of vocational education experience, 5 years of direct bartending experience, and graduated from the Bartending Academy in Jacksonville, FL in 1983. With the real world experience of the service industry and the passion for changing lives, David Phillips founded The Premium Institute of Bartending in 2007. He promotes an environment that encourages students to learn more than the basics of bartending. David designed the bartending course to include professional development in addition to quality, hands-on training.

Danny Bristol, Instructor - Lewisville Campus
Bartending Instructor at the Lewisville Campus, Danny Bristol, has established himself as a career bartender with nearly 10 years of hands-on bartending experience behind a variety of bars. Danny has gained experience in all aspects of bar management, including the presentation and knowledge of a five-star restaurant, the fast paced environment of night clubs and sports bars, and the laid back drink and food service of a water-front bar on the lake. Danny's experience includes management and training roles. He has acted as a General Manager, Bar Manager, and Assistant Manager of various bars. Bartending instruction allows Danny to continue to do what he is most passionate about - bartending and sharing his knowledge and expertise with others by teaching them to be the best bartender possible.

Chelsea Perkins, Assistant Campus Director/Job Placement Coordinator - Lewisville Campus
Chelsea has more than 3 years of experience in Office Management with expertise in Customer Service. She has managed a tax office and a private hospital in her career. She was also a part of an Activities Committee where she planned events for 50-100 employees. Chelsea has attended courses in Resume Building and Interview Etiquette which she uses to assist students in their Job Placement. She teaches part of our curriculum, as well. Using her knowledge, she lectures on Success Strategies in the application, interview, and resume writing processes. Chelsea creates a welcoming, fun environment for all prospective and current students!

Jacquelyn Brumbaugh, Assistant Campus Director/Instructor/Job Placement Coordinator - Fort Worth Campus
Jacquelyn Brumbaugh is the Assistant Campus Director and Instructor at The Premium Institute of Bartending’s Fort Worth location. Jacquelyn has 6 years experience bartending and many more years spent in various other occupations in the service industry including bar management, club and alcohol promotions. Jacquelyn was born and raised in Fort Worth, TX. She attended Tarleton State University, graduating in May 2010 with a Bachelors in Human Sciences with an emphasis in Child and Family Studies. While at Tarleton she became a member of the Delta Zeta Sorority chapter, Texan Reps and FCCLA. Jacquelyn loves playing with her maltipoo “Sugar” and spending time out with family and friends enjoying the nightlife in Fort Worth and keeping up with the latest trends in the service industry. Jacquelyn also holds the record for completing the school’s practical final in 3 minutes and 50 seconds. |
